I painted them in a barn in Madrid a small NM town a friend owned a barn in.
I think I was trying to further bring the things together from the Joshua Tree paintings and then went on using the fragment of sunflowers passing as the sun in the autumn moment.
I combined every aspect from my painting of the last 15 years .
